The story of 'ACTION' begins at the lawless underworld run by Ranigunge’s coal mafia. Munni Devi is the undisputed leader there, who is also a political personality. Her daughter, Raka is a sadistic hooligan who makes and changes laws at her own whim. For many years she has never been opposed by anybody. But all of a sudden, a young college student Akash takes up a stand against her.
Raka is mad with fury and initially sets out to destroy him.But the strangest thing happens to her when she discovers that she has fallen in love with him.
Inspite of Akash rejecting her proposal, Raka refuses to give up. The story now revolves around Akash's attempt to rebuild his life at someplace else where Raka won't be able to reach him.
In this new life, he finds his true love Rini.But it is hard for Akash to accept Rini's advances, because the shadow of Raka still looms large over him.
Now it is time to Akash to indulge in some action!
